• April 20: last day to transfer or defer registration to next year

• May 3 from 4-7pm: packet pickup at Pale Fire Brewing Company

How It Works:

• 8am-6pm: Run a 5K on the hour every hour for 10 hours. Individual and team options!
• The Course: a 5K trail loop with a shared start/finish line. Participants must be ready at the start line at the top of every hour.
• Individuals: Can you complete all ten loops?! Run all 50K for the most bragging rights of the day. Awards are based on cumulative time.
• Teams: Are you endurance race curious? Or trail running curious? Both? This is a welcoming event for YOU!
  • Teams of 2: may either alternate 5K’s or have one person do five hours in a row then the other person do the next five hours in a row. Each teammate must complete five loops.
  • Teams of 3: you decide how to divide up loops. Each teammate must complete at least three loops.
• Timing: All loops are chip timed. Results will be based on total cumulative time.
  • Time cutoff: participants must be able to finish each 5K loop in under 57 minutes. Anyone who does not meet the time cut off each hour will not be permitted to continue.
• Basecamp: The Perfect Day 50K hangout spot & party zone! Participants will park their vehicles in the grassy area next to the start/finish line for refueling between loops. You’re welcome to bring tents, coolers, camping grills, and pets must be on a leash. We’ll have music playing and spectators are encouraged to bring their energy to Basecamp to support runners. Spectators will be asked to park in the main Western Slopes gravel parking lot adjacent to the start/finish line.
  • Black Sheep Coffee will have FREE coffee for participants all day long.
• Swag: Every participant receives a premium moisture wicking race shirt, custom finisher medal and stocked drinks & snacks at Basecamp.
• Charity Partner: A portion of each registration goes to Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition. SVBC volunteers are responsible for the building and maintenance of the trail system at Massanutten Western Slopes and we couldn’t do this without them.
