  • Course Description: The Blacksburg Turkey Trot features a 5K course that runs throughout  Blacksburg via the Huckleberry Trail! The Kids Dash is a 1/2 mile out-and-back course, beginning at the start line. See course maps here.
  • The Cause: We’re collecting canned foods and non-perishables for the Interfaith Food Pantry. Our collective effort can make a huge impact and it’s super important to us that we use this event to help those who are hungry around this holiday. Frazier Quarry 5K

Frazier Quarry 5k

You’ll start next to the stone crusher at the top of the quarry, then run around the rim with breathtaking views below before heading down into the “pit.” The finish heads up & out of the pit, around mountains of unearthed stone and through lanes of the biggest and baddest excavating equipment you’ve ever seen. See course maps here.
  • The Cause: 100% of net proceeds benefit the Stephanie Van Nortwick Scholarship. This scholarship was created in honor of a Harrisonburg teacher who passed away in a car accident last year. Stephanie was a high school and college runner who persuaded a group of local friends to run the inaugural Harrisonburg Half Marathon before she had her accident. Many of her students run high school track and cross country and the family has created a scholarship that will be awarded to a high school track and field athlete in her name.
