Important Dates

• November 16: deadline to be guaranteed a shirt. After this date, remaining shirts will be given on a first come first served basis, based on time of registration.
• November 25 at 12pm: last chance to register online.
• November 26 from 12-6pm: packet pickup at Cassel Coliseum. Walkup registration ($5 price increase) will be available.
• No race day packet pickup.

The Blacksburg Turkey Trot presented by Kroger and Venveo is the perfect mix of fun and fitness on Thanksgiving morning. The 5k course is designed with all skill levels of walkers and runners in mind! It’s ideal for first-timers and veteran runners alike. The Turkey Trot is a professionally timed event (you’ll receive a race bib and chip timing device at packet pickup), but don’t let that deter you from coming dressed in your favorite Thanksgiving-themed running gear!

The Gobble Gobble Kids Dash is a can’t-miss tradition for kids on Thanksgiving. They’ll be energized by the roar of the crowd and feel the freedom of wind in their face as they run through the streets of Blacksburg. Kids Dash participants will finish prior to the start of the Blacksburg Turkey Trot.
