Important Information:

• REGISTRATION OPENS December 1, 2024
• Limited to 200 participants
• February 15: last day to transfer or defer registration to next year
• Sign up by February 24 to be guaranteed a shirt with your registration
• March 7 from 4-7pm: packet pickup at Old Ox Brewery.

How It Works:

• 8am-6pm: Run a 5K on the hour every hour for 10 hours. Individual and team options!
• The Course: a 5K trail loop with a shared start/finish line. Participants must be ready at the start line at the top of every hour.
• Individuals: Can you complete all ten loops?! Run all 50K for the most bragging rights of the day. Awards are based on cumulative time.
• Teams: Are you endurance race curious? Or trail running curious? Both? This is a welcoming event for YOU!
  • Teams of 2: may either alternate 5K’s or have one person do five hours in a row then the other person do the next five hours in a row. Each teammate must complete five loops.
  • Teams of 3: you decide how to divide up loops. Each teammate must complete at least three loops.
• Timing: All loops are chip timed. Results will be based on total cumulative time.
  • Time cutoff: participants must be able to finish each 5K loop in under 57 minutes. Anyone who does not meet the time cut off each hour will not be permitted to continue.
• Basecamp: The Perfect Day 50K hangout spot & party zone! Participants will park their vehicles in the lot next to the start/finish line for refueling between loops. You’re welcome to bring tents, coolers, and pets must be on a leash. We’ll have music playing and spectators are encouraged to bring their energy to Basecamp to support runners.
  • FREE coffee for participants at Basecamp all day long.
• Swag: Every participant receives a premium moisture wicking race shirt, custom finisher medal and stocked drinks & snacks at Basecamp.
• Charity Partner: A portion of each registration goes to Girls on the Run Northern VA.
